Elena Byrne is the founder of Ellevations, a building design studio established in 2006. Based on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, the company has been assisting many families, building designers and architects with their projects.

Elena’s devotion to quality, respect to her clients and the environment are at the forefront of her design process. Her formal qualifications include a Diploma in Architectural Technology, Certificate in Interior Design as well as Bachelor of Economics. Elena is a Full Member  of the Building Designers Association of Australia (BDAA).

A Russian born Australian (or Rusaussie), Elena has always been an adventurer and travel addict. From quad bike riding in the sand dunes of Abu Dhabi and hiking the Inca Trial in Peru to abseiling in New Zealand and white water rafting in Indonesia, Elena has travelled to over fifty countries and counting.

In her spare time, Elena loves live music, learning the German language, testing her newly acquired skills of her scooter licence by zooming around the Northern Beaches, and pushing herself outside her comfort zone by casually taking a flight on a jet fighter whilst being given control over from the pilot to get a taste of what the future may hold.
